Tobihale 300mg Respules is an antibiotic used to prevent or treat infections of the lung (e.g., pneumonia). It is particularly effective in managing lung infections in people suffering from a disease known as cystic fibrosis.

Tobihale 300mg Respules is only meant for inhalation using a nebulizer. The solution should not be injected or swallowed. It works by stopping the growth of bacteria. This helps to improve your symptoms and resolve the underlying infection. It should be used regularly at evenly spaced time intervals as prescribed by your doctor. Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Stopping the medicine too early may lead to the infection returning or worsening.

Common side effets of this medicine include increased may cause cough, pharyngitis, change in taste, or voice change as side effects in some patients. These are temporary and usually resolve with time. Regular rinsing of the mouth with warm saline water and the use of lozenges may help you to overcome the side effects. HOW TO USE?

  • The solution should not be injected or swallowed.
  • Take the first dose of this medicine under medical supervision as it may cause wheezing or tightening of the airways (bronchospasm) immediately after using.

  • Inform your doctor if you experience any hearing loss, sensation of ringing in the ears, or dizziness and unsteadiness.

  • Your doctor will regularly monitor your kidney function while taking Tobihale 300mg Respules to detect any toxicity.

  • Can I stop taking Tobihale 300mg Respules when I feel better?
    Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better.

  • Tobihale 300mg Respules may cause damage to cornea on long-term use.

  • Apply pressure on the corner of the eye (close to the nose) for about 1 minute immediately after instilling the drop.

  • Wait for at least 5-10 minutes before delivering the next medication in the same eye to avoid dilution.

  • Stinging sensation may occur for 1-2 mins.

  • Notify your doctor if it persists for longer.
  • Make sure to use it within 4 weeks of opening the bottle.
